The founder's journey

NextWorkStep was not born from theory. It was born from observation. For over 18 years, I built systems, led teams, and hired people. My first hire in 2009 stayed with me for 11 years. I never hired based solely on skills. Skills can be learned. What matters is how someone thinks, adapts, and interacts with their environment. I personally live with a neurodivergent profile, including autistic traits with masking and hypersensitivity. Masking allowed me to adapt, to succeed, and to navigate demanding environments. But I also know its invisible cost. Mental fatigue. Continuous adaptation. Constant effort to stay aligned with systems not designed for your brain. I realized something important. The problem is not the people. The problem is the system's inability to read them properly. NextWorkStep exists to bridge that gap. Not to evaluate people. But to reveal them. Not to categorize. But to guide. Not to replace human judgment. But to support it. We believe everyone has a compatible trajectory. Sometimes, it just needs to be revealed.
